2018 Bolt To Syrah

Purple-ruby depths contains a refined barnyard funk, notes of cinnamon, cardamom and sagey scrub-brush florals. The fuchsia edge hints at deep berry and red fruits, like a warm cherry still ripening on the tree. The zing of dark chocolate lingers on the palate. Bolt To’s third release of a Ballard Canyon Syrah is a delight now, and will age for decades.

2020 Grenache Blanc / Roussanne Ballard Canyon AVA

A beautiful blend of 50% Grenache Blanc and 50% Roussanne from the milder part of Ballard Canyon. This blend brings together the sharpness of Grenache Blanc and the roundness of Roussanne for a wonderful juxtaposition of these two Rhone varieties. As with all Rhone varieties this wine is slightly more weighty than our Chards and aromas are more abundant in the form of roses, stone fruits and damp herbs. The palate has a wonderful richness and juiciness without being bitter.

2021 Roussanne Ballard Canyon AVA

100% Roussanne from Ballard Canyon. Dark golden hue bleeds into a light straw color in the glass. Driven by acidity, this wine, while varietally correct, is not as robust as some of our other Roussannes. More focused as the tropical fruits drive through the mid palate for a long, mineral finish.
